Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura (AA Zaura) is a Nigerian, Kano-born multitalented, and multisectoral international Businessman and Philanthropist, with over two decades of hands-on experience and private sector leadership in business development, management, strategy, innovation, and job creation in the areas of Renewable Energy, Oil, and Gas, Real Estate Finance and Development, Financial Management, and Global Commodities Trading. AA Zaura’s business interests also include Aviation, Air and Land Transport Services and Rentals, and Modeled Social Impact Development Initiatives amongst others.

Over the past two decades, he has spearheaded the company’s strategic direction, resulting in a 1000% increase in revenue as well as growth and expansion. Successfully navigated complex market dynamics and geopolitical challenges, positioning the company as a leading service provider in the oil and gas industry and value chain. Through his extraordinary leadership, the Zaura Business Empire has launched into emerging markets in several continents across America, Europe, Africa, Middle-East and Asia, expanding the company’s footprints and diversifying its services to meet evolving market demands.

He holds certifications in Technical and Agricultural Mechanization; a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Political Science and Public Administration and A Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Public Administration both from Baze University, and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Technology, Kano State Polytechnic. AA Zaura attended a Master’s Program in Financial Management Services (in view) from the Robert Kennedy College, University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom.

He founded and leads Zaura Energy Limited, Plembeck Emirates Limited, a Global Renewable Energy Company headquartered in Germany and Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He is the Chairman/CEO, of Laulex Lushgreen Limited, an Export, Import, General Commodities, and Real Estate Development and Investments Company based in Nigeria.  Chief Executive Officer, Brainscom Limited, Salscorel Limited, and Gravity Company Limited focusing on Aviation and Air and Land Transport, Financial Management and Investments, and Real Estate Development that has significantly contributed to the development of Nigeria’s economy in the areas of job creation, business incubation and sustainable financing;

Alh. Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura is the founder and President of the AA Zaura Foundation, a community/social impact development, and empowerment, privately funded Not for Profit Foundation that has positively impacted over a million individual beneficiaries, institutions, communities and corporate bodies in the areas of disbursements of over N500Million Educational Scholarship awards to tens of thousands of students, Construction and equipping of brand new Police Station and Police Residential Quarters worth over N60Million at Zaura, Kano State; donation of Community Healthcare Facilities and Services, construction and equipping of Schools to promote access to basic education, Donation of Ambulances, Sports Development and awards; welfare supports including foods and clothing to Widows, Women, the less privileged and physically challenged Nigerians. The Foundation has also donated Support Packages to the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), donation of Security and Safety Equipment to the Nigerian Police, and Repair/Installation of over 500Nos of Hand Boreholes and Motorized Solar Powered Boreholes across 44 Local Government Areas in Kano State as well as promotion of advocacy campaigns for a culture of peace-building and conflict resolution. The Foundation has further refurbished and provided needed support to several Orphanage Homes across the country, especially in Kano State, and numerous Free Medical outreach to help the rural communities of Kano access quality Healthcare. AA Zaura Foundation was also on the frontline during the global coronavirus pandemic and played a crucial support role in complementing the government efforts through the provision of palliatives, and Millions of non-pharmaceutical facilities/equipment to help the people overcome the health, social, and economic devastation of livelihood caused by the pandemic; the foundation is estimated to have expended over N1Billion Naira in community development and social support programs in the last 15 years of its operation.
